	Heineman is a real family business run by Mr. Heineman Sr. and his wife and since 1984 son Robert and his wife. Heineman Antiques from Terschuur has had experience with the buying and selling of antique British furniture for over 45 years. In those days Mr. Heineman Sr. set out to the English countryside himself.

Later on, his son went with him. Together they found the best addresses in (the south of) England and Wales. Were the purchased antiques mainly sold to Dutch antique dealers in the past, since some years we also aim at selling to private persons. Nowadays it is too time consuming to do all the buying in Britain ourselves. There still are some nice antiques to be found because British tradition, its rich past and the ‘we don’t throw anything away’ attitude provides for many antiques in houses and farms.

We buy at British wholesalers, who do the searching for antiques for us. These wholesalers do not only have wharehouses with furniture, they also often have restoring workshops.Most of the antiques are restored in Britain. The expertise is higher and defintely cheaper because of lower wages expences.

We only sell straightforward designed furniture; this means no carved out doorpanels or pillars. Most of our collection dates from 1800 to 1880. Sometimes a bit older, sometimes a bit younger pieces. Because of the timeless design, they are easily combinable with modern furnishing of homes and offices.

Antiques are good and stable investments.

Because we are a real family business, without an expensive building in a luxureous shooping area ( no overhead expences) and because we are buing ourselves and service, prices if our furniture are reasonable.

Often people boggle at the prices of antiques. People do not realise that antiques are relatively cheap because they keep their value. Genuine antiques are stable. Furthermore, it is environment friendly.. Genuine antiques require no cut in rainforests because the furniture is over 100 years old. Antique furniture is more a kind of recycling.

We have a unique trade-in guarantee.:

To all our antique furniture applies a unique trade-in guarantee. Whoever buys something, is entitled to trade-in his/her piece once. We maintain thereby an exchanging periods of 3 years on tables, partition tables and offices. And 5 years on castes. On are based on and upholstered pieces of furniture, apply no exchanging guarantees.

Antique golfclubs:

Apart from antique furniture, we also have a series of old golfclubs in stock. The collection came about because of the golf hobby of father and son. We have genuine wooded drivers with hickory shafts, metal putters and other clubs with names as ‘mashie’ (mid-iron), ‘niblick’ (short-iron) and the ‘deep-face’ (wedge) on sale for prices ranging from several tens to several hundreds of euro's, depending on quality and curiosity.

This raod goes from Hoevelaken to Terschuur. We are open Tuesday – Saturday from 9.00 am to 17.00 pm or on appointment (closed on Sundays and Mondays). There’s plenty of parking space.
